pimento cheese, sage and chutney sausage rolls

These Pimento Cheese, Sage & Chutney Sausage Rolls are the belle of the holiday buffet: flaky, cheesy, and downright divine.

Perfect for a Christmas brunch, party platter, or heck, Santa might like a few when he does his rounds…

Ingredients

  • 400g sausage meat

  • 1 roll of ready-made puff pastry

  • 100g Homewrecker Pimento Cheese

  • A handful of fresh sage, chopped

  • 2 tbsp of your favorite chutney

Method

  1. Mix your sausage meat, chutney, fresh sage and Homewrecker together in a bowl.

  2. Cut a sheet of puff pastry in half and add your sausage meat.

  3. Fold the pastry over, pressing together with some egg wash and a fork.

  4. Chop each roll up, egg wash the tops and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  5. Get in a hot oven, bake for 30 minutes and try not to eat the whole batch fresh from the oven…
