Homewrecker Cheesesteaks
Ingredients:
Serves 2
1 ribeye steak, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
Homewrecker Pimento Cheese (measure with your heart)
1 fresh baguette
2 tablespoons oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Heat a large pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the oil and let it heat up.
2. Add the sliced onions to the pan. Sauté them until they start to soften and caramelize, stirring occasionally. This process will take about 5-7 minutes. Once done, remove the onions and set aside.
3. In the same pan, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season it with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the steak for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until it's browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Add the onions to the steak and set aside.
4. Melt the Homewrecker in a saucepan to make an irresistible cheese sauce.
5. Slice the baguette lengthwise, butter and toast the cut side under the grill or in a pan.
6. Layer the cooked steak and sautéed onions onto the toasted baguette.
7. Drizzle over your Homewrecker and enjoy your homemade Homewrecker Cheesesteaks!
