CHEESY Sausage and Egg Wrap
This easy peasy breakfast is loaded with maple sausage, fluffy eggs, and a heapin’ helping Homewrecker, all tucked into a warm flour tortilla.
Saturday mornin’ never looked so good…
Ingredients:
Serves 1
1 tablespoon oil
2 sausages
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 tablespoons salsa (fresh or shop-bought)
Homewrecker Pimento Cheese, measured with your heart
1 tablespoon butter
3 large eggs
1 flour tortilla
Method
Cook the Sausage: Heat up some oil in a skillet and remove your sausages from their skin. Crumble them in and cook till crispy. Drizzle some maple syrup, add your salsa, and set it aside.
Prepare the Eggs: In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and add the butter. Once hot, pour in the eggs and scramble gently till just set. Remove the eggs and set them aside.
Assemble the Wrap: Warm up your tortilla (optional but mighty tasty), and layer in the eggs and sausage mix.
Roll the Wrap: Fold in the sides and roll up your wrap nice and tight.
Serve and Enjoy: Cut your wrap in half and dig in!
