Whether it's a weeknight family dinner or a weekend gathering with friends, this Homewrecker Spaghetti is a wholesome and satisfying meal is sure to become a favorite in your household.

Ingredients:

Serves 4

  • 300g Spaghetti

  • 1 Onion, finely chopped

  • 1 Red Pepper, finely chopped

  • 250g Mushroom, finely chopped

  • 500g Beef Mince

  • 1 tbsp Tomato Paste

  • 1 tub of Tomato and Basil Sauce

  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

  • Homewrecker Pimento Cheese (measured to your preference)

  • Parmesan, to finish

    Method

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and red pepper. Sauté for a few minutes until they start to soften.

  3. Add the finely chopped mushrooms to the pan and continue to cook until the mushrooms are tender and any liquid has evaporated.

  4. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the beef mince. Cook the mince until it's browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spatula or spoon as it cooks.

  5. Stir in the tomato paste, mixing it well with the vegetables and beef mince.

  6. Pour in the tub of tomato and basil sauce.

  7. Add a heap of Homewrecker Pimento Cheese and stir everything together to combine.

  8. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. While the sauce is simmering, grate or crumble the desired amount of Homewrecker Pimento Cheese. Set it aside for garnishing the finished dish.

  10. Once the sauce has thickened, add the cooked spaghetti to the pan. Toss the spaghetti in the sauce until it's well coated.

  11. Serve the spaghetti hot, garnishing each portion with a sprinkle of Parmesan and enjoy!
