With its rich, tangy Homewrecker Pimento Cheese paired with the classic, creamy Gruyere, this fondue is a match made in heaven.

Ingredients:

  • 200ml dry white wine

  • Squeeze of lemon juice

  • 200g grated gruyere

  • 200g Homewrecker Pimento Cheese

  • 2 tsp cornflour

  • Things to dip of your choice! We had crusty bread, potatoes, pepper, cucumber and grapes. 

Method

  1. Add wine and lemon juice to a pan and put over medium heat until simmering.

  2. Add your Homewrecker Pimento Cheese and Gruyere in stages, whisking to incorporate in between.

  3. Add 1 tbsp of water (or Kirsch if you’re feeling fancy) to the cornflour to make a slurry.

  4. Add to the cheese mixture and continue to cook over a medium heat until thickened.

  5. Get a group of friends together and serve with the sides!
