Ingredients:

  • 8 blocks of Stocked Hearty Ragu

  • 600g potatoes, peeled and chopped

  • 50g butter

  • 100ml milk

  • 100g Homewrecker Pimento Cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).

  2. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  3. While the potatoes cook, heat the Hearty Ragu as per the instructions. Pour into an ovenproof dish, spreading it evenly across the base.

  4. Mash the potatoes with the butter, milk, and Homewrecker Pimento Cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Spread the cheesy mash evenly over the ragu layer. Use a fork to create little ridges on the surface for extra crispy bits.

  6. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the mash is golden and bubbling around the edges.

  7. Serve up and dig in! This dish is best enjoyed hot, straight from the oven.
